Guru Village to Silicon Plane
I was in Gurgaon, named after the land was gifted to Guru Drona by the Pandavas(this is googled, initially I thought that it was named as Jaggery= Gur and gaon as in village) . The village now has morphed in to a city of glass. As you can see Before After The change in the city has been enormous and following is the account of how a small town girl witnessed the seeping in of technology and practicality in soils.So basically this is not a very touristy piece One is welcomed to the city of gurgaon by a long stretch of grey carpet and white dashed paint, which when trodden will leave you in the city of palaces- Jaipur. But to my luck, the city of palaces was a far off land and I stopped to glance and reflect at the silicon glass of the city of Gurgaon.
